Christ & St. John’s Church is a small Episcopal parish serving Champlain, Rouses Point, NY and the surrounding North-East corner of New York State. This very historic area, which was a major British staging area in both the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812, also borders the State of Vermont and the Canadian Province of Quebec. The parish has been in existence since the early 1900’s.

Much of the industry and commerce of the area centers on the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, trans-border commerce and Lake Champlain tourism.  Champlain and Rouses Point are both located on major highway and rail routes which connect Montreal with New York City, Albany, Boston and Burlington, Vt.

Christ & St. John’s Church is a loving fellowship of Christians with a deep desire to fulfill our role as one of the “Missionary Outposts” in the Episcopal Diocese of Albany, prepared to live and share the Gospel of Christ with others, in the Anglican Episcopal tradition.

We are a warm, welcoming community of faith and our liturgies are conducted in a relaxed and friendly style.

We welcome all who would like to visit or share with us in worship and fellowship.
